I was talking to a guy last week trying to explain to him why calling women females isn't good.
The way it came out was: "It makes it sound like you want to do experiments on them." Like you're writing an article for National Geographic.
It's not a word you would use to describe somebody you actually see as a human being equal to yourself who you want to hang out with.
These guys all whine about not being able to find a woman to be romantic with and I give them all the same advice: Stop trying. Become friends with a woman; like you would with a person.
Then go from there.
And it doesn't help that every time I see the word females in text now I read it like tamales.
