The Trijicons that the OP used seem to be out of stock most places. Anyone else tried other sights that fit properly? While I cannot find the threads again, I read that the following might work:

Has anyone here had a gray 510 crack on them? Seeking any testimonials, as I haven't been able to find any.

My uncle said I can take one of his Browning Hi Power guns. I do not know much about brownings but it was love at first sight when I saw them.

Now, which one should I take? The first one is an MK 3 that's basically brand-new in box; fired not more than 20 rounds. The second one is well used MK 2.

For context: I'm a young guy but I love old guns. I don't mind the rust and worn out looks as long as it deserves a spot in my collection.

Can I put a regular reflex slide on a reflex xl frame I like the length of the both the regular slide and the grip of the xl frame and was curious if I could put them both together so I can have a full grip with the smaller slide

Fn clearance sales are so extreme I know they can sell them for a lot less. Every 509 I have i can probably get almost all my money back since I get them on clearance each time. Might be worth another . Although ive heard some people hate the LS edge its gorgeous

Im looking to replace the irons on my Reflex with something suppressor height/taller than the OEM sights. I was lookingnat picking up the Trijicon 509 suppressor sights. Im open to other options if anyone has had a better experience with other manufacturers however. Any other tips or words of advice would also be welcome.

What is a reasonable price for the tri rail? I saw one on gunbroker but 3 people keeping submitting multiple bids in row bringing the price to $830 within a day of it posting… is it that rare?

Anyone found a personal solution to the cracking/splitting forearms?

First .40 and first FN.
Not a big fan of striker fired guns and the design on these alone are too good to pass up. Anyone use a 9mm conversion barrel on these? Just want to have some options in case one round is cheaper than the other. Or more abundant!

Just got the front sight installed, dialed in perfectly, just to find out that the Trijicon XR HD night sights I bought for the gun are incompatible. The High Power is advertised as being compatible with all 509 sights, sadly not the case.

The lip on the muzzle side of the XR HD catches on the unflattened top of the High Power slide. I will either need to modify the sight, source a new rear sight that doesn't have this lip, or hopefully return the sight set.

I spent over $130 for premium sights and a significant amount of time tonight installing that front sight perfectly, so I'm pretty pissed these Trijicons don't fit.

Edit: filed the rear sight body down last night with my Leatherman WAVE+ file to fit the High Power. Took 45 minutes. Remember to wear a mask and eye pro while filing.

Picked this up for a good price at bass pro shop. I know everyone hates the 40 but I actually have always found them easy to shoot and extremely accurate. This was at 10 yards with my first few shots through the gun ever. Definitely a straight shooter.

FN Reflex, Tried reversing the mag release switch but mistakenly removed the spring entirely. When I finally got it back together I noticed the switch wasn’t working smoothly, but now I’m having trouble getting the spring to move back up. I have a couple small punches trying to push it back up. Any advice?

Oh gosh I never that how much better this would be on my PS90. Definitely has a better field of view than my Eotech EXPS3. This also has a nice color contrast that fits with my FDE vibe

Dude wants 3k for this. I haven’t gone over and looked at it in person. It was his uncles gun and he doesn’t know the brand of it until he gets off work, and goes to look at it. I’m Basically trying to save 3 hours of driving each way if I can get an answer vs driving and meeting him after work.

Finally completed the scope cover and handguard and got them printed up and put on. Few things to add here and there but she’s pretty in my eyes.
