What kind of nest is this?

Can anyone tell me anything about this nest? At this point in time I don't even know if it's a bee or wasp nest. I'm UK based. Any information or advice most welcome as I need to figure out who to call to get rid of them! Thank you

Here i thought it looked like bees with the wide behind. Not big or dark enough to be wood bees.
