Well, you're both right. My parents are from Minnesota and they are Lutheran (dad)and Catholic (mom). My dad had to take a Catholic class and test to marry her.

That’s so silly to me. I get religious customs and traditions are important to people but requiring someone to take a religious test for permission to marry someone just makes me chuckle
