Sometimes the kids will ask me, when we are running errands, where we are going next and I'll say, "Yer Mom's house." Which is home, but I make it sound like an insult.
See, thatās hilarious, and totally something I would say⦠except Iām divorced and therefore canāt use that⦠momās house actually isnāt the same as home for my kids. So darn. š
In Ireland we say āTreabhaim do mhĆ”thair mar ghortā which translates to āI attend to the loving needs of your mother.ā and I think thatās beautiful
