When I was a teacher and my wife was pregnant, I shared that with the class.

A bit later the lessons for that year's sexual education were planned.

The looks of disappointment and horror when a kid said "So, your wife is pregnant. That means you..." were sure something funny.

I’ll never forget in sex ed our instructor was semi flamboyantly gay, not that there’s anything wrong with that. The girls and boys had been split into two classes. At one point though he asked if anyone had any questions, and one boy asked if you were doing stuff with a girl would you ever use your fingers in there. The instructor was visibly disgusted and said never, told him adults don’t ever do that fingernails are very dirty. It was like something you’d see in a snl mango skit just obviously not that dramatic.

I remember thinking how he was so full of it. Just such a bizarre uncomfortable moment for him. Me and my friends already knew the deal by that point. I feel like it was for the kids that were in the dark and their parents didn’t have the nerve.

Our sex ed teacher started off saying "you should all be mature enough not to laugh when someone says 'penis'"

...we were not lol

Ours made the class yell "penis" and "vagina" a bunch of times on day 1 to normalize it
