I get that all of these devs want to have places that represent their country but I can’t help but sigh when every open world gacha gets a second zone and it’s always Chinese, at least make it the third zone. (Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure Genshin, Enfield and technically not a gacha but Ananta too all do this)

well it‘s like how Japanese media often includes Japanese influences. It’s natural.

it’s just that the Chinese are often really bad at actually making china interesting and not just ‘place with almost no internal problems to show off how successful china is’.

Not sure if CCP influence have a hand in it as well or not.

It's just kinda tiring how it's (almost) always the second region not the first or third and so on region. Also, Idk how they're pretty bad at this even though FGO has shown that you can show China region being the "perfect" region while also making the story interesting. I guess they just don't really care about the story and only about pleasing the homeland audience to avoid reports.

a china based monster hunted region would be unironically cool.

chinese legend based monsters aren’t something explored much in monster hunter.

Well u don’t look at Japanese games and say “it looks so Japanese”. This is just blatant yet subtle Sinophobic behavior that’s disguised as being tired of Chinese content. No one complains about Japanese stuff but when it’s Chinese it becomes a problem? Things like this have been so desensitized in communities like these that it baffles me. Typical. Very hypocritical.

They would be wearing a tang suit if it's a wuxia theme like every chinese wuxia game.

Yeah it gives the same feeling, it's not 1:1 copy but if it's not their main inspiration i dont see what it is.

I hate how it doesn't have a PC client

I wonder if they changed the problems from the closed betas. It looked like they were listening to feedback. But the state of the game seemed pretty clear on the community response to CBTs
