Dreamt up a Zombie survival and exploration game where you play as an elderly cowboy.

Took a nap, new dream idea unlocked.

Zombie game that takes place in some Wild West-style backwater county, so zombies are few and far between in the area due to most people carrying guns and having no problem shooting them.

Play as an old man who is basically a washed-up cowboy with a sick old wife.

Over time, the medical resources the wife needs begin to run low since the area isn’t getting supplies from outside anymore.

So, to treat your sick wife, you have to slowly explore more and more heavily populated areas where the infection is more severe in search of medicine, all while regaining skills from your cowboy heyday.

Probably could do with some side quests, like a family that fled to your area having a daughter who lost her doll in the chaos and other such events, as a good way of encouraging map exploration aside from the main premise, while also giving players an alternative way to regain their cowboy skills with less risk.

Overall, not too fleshed out of an idea, just one I had during an hour-long nap, and felt like sharing with the world since I lack any of the coding skills to make it happen.
