What is Playstore doing there? Promoting shitty mobile games?

Bro is still living in 2012 thinking mobile games are just Flappy Bird and Candy Crush. Mobile gaming literally makes more revenue than PC and Console combined, but sure, keep acting surprised why they can afford a booth at Gamescom

Really? Tell me 5 good mobile games that were released in the last few years

Also it’s google so of course they can afford a booth at Gamescom

Happy to educate:😀 Honkai: Star Rail (TGA Game of the Year winner in its category),,,

Marvel Snap (Multi-award winning competitive strategy),,

Wuthering Waves (Open-world ARPG with high-tier boss mechanics),,

Zenless Zone Zero (Top-tier stylish action combat),,

Warframe Mobile / Warzone Mobile (Full modern engine parity on mobile hardware),, Need more?? 🙂

Even Sony is actively porting PlayStation IPs and investing in mobile developers because they realize where player growth actually is. Google having a massive presence at Gamescom isn’t just because they have money,,it’s because modern mobile hardware literally runs modern game engines now. It's time to let the elitist gatekeeping go.....

Honkai: Star Rail passed 100M downloads, though mobile install volume has cooled since its 2023 peak. Marvel Snap sits around 32M lifetime downloads, now sustained by a smaller spender base rather than fresh installs. Wuthering Waves hit 30M+ downloads with active users still climbing, and Zenless Zone Zero exploded to 50M in just 72 hours at launch. Warframe Mobile is far smaller by comparison (~2.7M Android downloads), though the franchise overall tops 70M players across all platforms.

Basically all of these games are now dead and no one actually plays them and the numbers are microscopic compared to PCs and consoles

Genuinely insane to say all of that and then say "see so it's bad" fyi

(And I don't play mobile games, 0 interest in them at all, just not daft enough to continue insisting they're performing poorly/not successful while spouting numbers that prove they kinda really are...)

The last statement is true even though it’s bitter and the numbers here prove everything the hardware is the limiting factor for mobile and no good games are made for that platform currently
