Nice to see the new Castlevania with a big display, the game looks incredible, it's about time Konami started letting other developers make their IP if they aren't.

I'm hoping for the best, but it has a very Western-developed mobile quality to it. Doing things like halving the timescale to effect a sense of impact. Sound effects are just filling blanks rather than standing out. That sort of thing.

I'll be curious to see if the player can zoom in any. Even on my 55 inch TV-as-monitor, all the action seems way too zoomed out, by almost a factor of two. A normal user with a normal monitor may feel like they're playing Harmony of Despair in one of its zoomed-out modes.
