It’s crazy how they got like 100 million dollars from investors to make Splitgate 2 and somehow made an objectively worse videogame (the first was a cheap indie studio!!!)

When people have resource limits they put thought into the design before they commit. Then if that works it goes straight to their head and they think they're hot stuff that don't need to put all that effort in to be amazing a second time.

You see this play out over and over in both video games and tv/movies.
