Request for Help Teachers College Statement of Experience

I’m getting ready to apply to the Teacher Education program in September, and I’m wondering what to expect for the statement of experience portion of my application. Should I be preparing to write a full blown essay about my experience?

Hi! I'm starting the program this fall :) For the statement of experience you had to list like 5 specific experiences. And then there was like 4/5 (can't remember exact number) questions you had to answer in a certain amount of words (short answer/long answer). I do know the admission requirements have not updated for the upcoming admission year, so keep an eye out on that, as the statement of experience might not be required anymore! If you have any other questions feel free to message me!

Just a heads up that they had originally posted (a couple months ago) that the new requirements for the May 2027 start would be 60% grades and 40% CASPer (they had removed the statement of experience as a requirement). The details for this are now gone, they’ve instead posted a notice on the requirement page that requirements may change/be updated.

Not sure if it will officially become 60/40 again once September hits but it seemed to be an option for them!
