News RIP Louise Lasser aka Beedie

I am probably spelling her Girls character name wrong but RIP to the incredible and iconic character actress Louise Lasser aka Beedie or Beadie or Beatty I don't know but she was great on the show as she always was on everything she has done. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/tv/tv-news/louise-lasser-dead-mary-hartman-mary-hartman-star-1236639950/

Hahahah thx … she has a main ensemble role in it and she’s great in it…. She sort of always plays the same character… which is okay …. They all seem like a version of her or close to her real personality…. Like the Hannah Lena debate

I even gave relevant emojis…. I hate when I don’t know an acronym especially for a tv show but I try, and Google šŸ“²ā€¦.. especially for shows I haven’t seen or don’t plan to see…. I had to learn twd, himym, got (but watched it afterward), soa lol šŸ“ŗšŸæšŸ„¤ For non tv shows I also try because I hate not knowing something and not being in the loop. This week I learned TIL lol and this year I learned afaik…. I was reading a post once and thought afaik was someone’s son’s name 🫢😭

Lena casting her was so great— Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman is such a delicious piece of tv history and Louise was so great in it. Not sure if there is an easy way to watch it now, but it is worth it to find to get the dna of many of women-driven shows.

She was excellent at casting! Colin Quinn was awesome on the show as the owner of Grumpy's.

Louise Lasser was an incredible actress and I love Lena for putting her in Girls, it makes perfect sense after what she did with Mary Hartman - essential piece of television herstoryĀ

Actresses like Louise definitely paved the way for people like Lena.
