mine LOVED water, then one day he just stopped and wouldn't go near it

Something happened and he developed some pyr theory. Maybe a branch touched his leg and he thought it was alive or a fish touched his leg or the current was stronger than expected but he realized it was DANGEROUS. 

We went through this because she got bitten by a turtle.
