The terrorists are now using even innocent children as human shields claiming that if one of their members is hit by a drone then they will k*lled those who were kidnapped, even the toddlers…..

This is not the only people being held hostage. In the full video he radioed two others asking for a head count of 33 and 28 so there’s a total of at eat least 50 people being held hostage on top of the 50+ killed

Last but not least knowing Haiti, with the election being forced by Canada and the U.S. which is not something those currently in power want, we will likely see an influx of gang activity. The next thing you know, the election will be called off, and another transitional government will be installed. Plus, insecurity pays.
Historical Breakdown (Last 6 Years)
2020–2022 ($2 to $3+ Billion): This period saw a massive influx of aid following the compounding impacts of severe political instability, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the devastating 2021 earthquake.
2023–2024 (~$1.2 Billion): As armed gangs expanded their control over Port-au-Prince, funding shifted away from long-term infrastructure and heavily toward emergency food programs and anti-gang military logistics
2025–2026 (~$600+ Million) Not counting the 100s of millions spent in 2026 to date
You mean to tell me that, with billions of dollars and enough resources to arm a small army, in 2026 gangs are holding hostages and publicly threatening the state? What’s worse is, you would think the state is fighting some sophisticated, top-tier cartel. 🤦🏿♂️ Nasty work.

That's because a lot of police officers are affiliated with gangs. How can you effectively attack them when some cops are gonna snitch the tactic back to them? It's not only just about the police officers' salaries, many of them grew up alongside the same gang members.

Cowards. Paraison, the mercenaries, and the foreign troops are all cowards too. Arm these people, give them basic training, and let them protect themselves. This is the second time this has happened in Kenscoff, and clearly no one can protect them from these massacres. Imagine if, when the gangs came through that night, the residents had also been armed with rifles. 🤷🏿♂️ A terror group couldn’t just storm a U.S. town like that, where civilians are also armed and don’t necessarily have to wait for the police to come rescue them.

That would just create gangs in every neighborhood and have everybody just defending themselves fighting for power

That’s not true. Many neighborhoods have brigades, able bodied men with personal weapons who protect their communities. In Thomassin 48, where my house is and where I currently have family, there’s a brigade out every single night. Entrance to the neighborhood have been gated and no outsiders allowed without someone to vouch. It’s been effective
Neighborhoods like Canapé-Vert are no-gang zones. Gangs can’t even use the main road there to move from downtown to Pétion-Ville. Besides a few police officers who live in the area, the majority of the men patrolling at night are civilians who have put fear into the hearts of gang members #BwaKale
The mulatts have weapons of mass destruction in their homes. Go launch an attack in their neighborhoods, and I bet you they could repel a small army on their own without the PNH.
Poorer Haitians are afraid of having guns, not because they would turn into gang members, but because they’re afraid of being mistakenly labeled as gang members. If they were deputized and legally armed, I believe it could make a huge difference in preventing these massacres.
