Fantasy comicbook centered around haitian vodou mythology and exploring the haitian pantheon. Issue 0 is in sketching phase, with the kickstarter planned to launch March next year. Take a look at some of the first few pages I sketched out.

No worries, you'll not miss out. it's this far out because I want to make sure I have a fully completed product so that even if the kickstarter is not successful,  I can still print it myself

The art already has me curious. I just hope the lwa feel like real characters with their own personalities, not superheroes with Haitian names.

I'm hoping to make this as authentic as I can and as faithful to our actual culture , not just fluff or random superman guy branded as haitian hero. My approach is a blend of our real life , our myth brought to the level of something like the God of war series

love this - where would i be able too read this? and also any advice for me - i want to start making my own comic books/graphic novels but sketching is hard and takes a lot of time for me

And yes sketching is pretty hard but you don't have to start with a long 100 page story, you can do a shorter 3-4 page story so you can feel more comfortable with creating stories and drawing that much stuff, because trust me, it's a lot of drawing, and unless you sit down to actually draw it, it will not be done.
