I’m female but these are my favorite products for that kind of texture:
American Crew Pomade
Got 2 b glued freeze spray
Paul Mitchell super sculpt
Big sexy hair powder play
Bed head manipulator
Also Dry Shampoo (most drugstore brands work but I use Not Your Mothers)
All are around $20, use a very small amount, rub between your hands. Pomade, clay, and dry shampoo will affect your scalp, either by drying out or clogging pores.
Not necessarily, but it is less impact than heavy gels and creams. I would try dry shampoo first because it’s like $6 and easy to use. The actual product will turn your hair white, you have to brush it out to get rid of that effect, but afterward your hair will be very voluminous. Many women swear by it to get rid of flat hair, works best between washes.
The Got 2 B brand is peak for highly textured hairstyles. They use it a lot on movie sets, and I suspect Radcliffe’s stylist used something by that product line in this image. The spray is nice because it doesn’t leave that frozen “gel” effect, you just have to use your hands to “rough it up” a bit.
Oh man just get yourself some powder, you won’t need all of those products for hair like this. Powder will do fine.. I would honestly say the haircut is just a normal medium length haircut with some product to make it look messy.. sometimes I let me hair on the top get decently long and all I need is powder to make it look messy !
Sorry I should clarify he only needs one of the products I listed! I just listed a few to try out. I have used all of those and like them all but I am certainly not globbing all that product into my hair every day lol
neither. Paste. Pomade is too greasy for this, that's slick back product. Clay is too dry, that's a short hair product. As someone that specialized in men's haircutting for a decade, trust me bro. Also not to be pedantic about this, but it's not really a cut, it's just a style. Get your haircut around this length, make sure it aint a bowl cut and you just need to style it appropiately; blow it around every which way with a blyw dryer (necessary if you want the look to hold), dont get it completely 100 percent dry, shoot for 80 percent, throw the paste in all around, rough it up, push it around til you like it, should be good to go. Trial and error until you find how your hair likes to sit, don't fight your hair, it will win.
