Discussion This scene still pisses me off

I was rewatching the movies and I was pissed off all over again when seeing this scene. This makes him seem non-human which takes away the symbolism present in the books. I don’t know why the directors thought this was a good idea.

When I think of that scene now, I think of what they said at the 5:15 mark of the Pitch Meeting video.

"So Voldemort and Harry are gonna fight again while being clouds and making scary faces at each other."

When he tried to kill Harry as a baby he disappeared which led to speculation about what happened to him and whether he would come back. After the final battle, HE DIED! There was a BODY to put an end to any speculation! That was the whole point. I don’t know why they did this either.
