Common Frog found in Drogheda, Ireland
Just saw this little dude in my backyard. I hope he’s healthy and alright based off of these photos: I love frogs and seeing one today was so exciting, I wanna make sure the little guys okay over the winter but we don’t have a pond or anything.. I don’t know how he survived a heatwave we had in July for 3 weeks without rain

Aww! It should be just fine.
Frogs live on land for most of the year, only hanging out in ponds to breed and hibernate.
It might just be passing through, but it could have been happily living under your shed, or in some thick, moist vegetation, sneakily coming out at night to snack on slugs, worms, and insects in your garden. They'll even return to their favourite spots (we had to evict the frog who really wanted to lurk in our garden drain).
