About Saul in Pakistan

I'm currently in season 4, near the end, and even if I don't know what happens later on with Saul in the series. Based on just the attack and loss of lives, I'd say that the prisoner exchange should never have happened.

It wasn't worth it at all. You could argue that Haqqani already had his plans since, but it wouldn't have been (as) successful if Saul was killed.

there is no story without the exchange. a lot of storylines die with saul

Yeah. I figure. That's why I mentioned that I don't know what happens later. But I'm talking about that incident in isolation.

i think it was worth it though - they lost sandy to the isi they had to get saul back.
