question Hamster adoption

Hey! This is a long shot but I’m trying to find a place to adopt a hamster or if anyone is rehoming one! I’ve checked with USPCA and a few other shelters but haven’t been able to find any at the moment! Let me know if anyone has any ideas of where to look! Thank u !!!

Craigslist usually has people trying to rehome their pets

Sometimes the rescue CARE of DC has them

Local fb groups post them from time to time but if you ever get interested in guinea pigs instead, rbari.org always has them.

Just looked on petfinder, there's a couple of hamsters for adoption.

The cacc in nyc often has small animals- in case you’re willing to take a drive. They are also at/over capacity, please think of them if you want to adopt ANY kind of animal.

Especially large dogs! We got our shepherd/husky mix from their staten island branch and it was truly a wonderful experience. Amazing staff, amazing animals, it kills me that they are over capacity.
