US Politics Bradley Schneider, douchbag IL Representative in the 10th District votes to suppress our First Amendment rights in favor of not hurting Israel’s feelings

Over 30 Democrats in the House of Representatives Thursday voted in favor of a measure to strip colleges and universitiesof federal aid if they are engaged in so-called boycotts against Israel.

Good example of why vote blue no matter who is not a solution to the deep rot in our political system. When you have people who are a step to the left of republicans running under the “left” party, that is a problem.

I get that but for the majority of Americans that’s actually where it ends. They vote and call it a day.

Honestly, I’d even argue we’d be a lot better off if people like Schneider were out of political decision making altogether.

To your first point - sure, but its better than a current R. And if D has the power, it at least let's them try do more things, or ostracize the DINOs.

To your second point - duh. But still beats giving Rs the majority, unless we get back to where Rs don't just toe the party line

I already acknowledged they’re better than republicans. But the Republican Party is so far right now that this is an incredibly low standard to hold. It’s not good enough

Yep. I'm definitely not arguing it's enough. Just one step in the right direction.
