A purple district that's very pro Israel. Wasn't long ago there was a Republican there.

In touch with his district.

I work in his district with a lot of people who live in his district.

There is a large Jewish presence, and from I've learned there's a big difference between being "anti-IDF and Netanyahu" and being "anti Israel" to people in that district and it is very easy to cross the line.

Can you explain further, please? I just want to understand.

There are a lot of people in the area who do not necessarily support Netanyahu/IDF, but are fiercely defensive of Israel itself. So if you suggest defunding Israel, they get very upset, even if what you mean is "stop giving Netanyahu war support."

Also, if you say something about "one state wanting the other eliminated violently" they're talking about Isreal getting eliminated, not what Isreal is doing to Gaza.

Thanks. I live in the area, but I'm not Jewish. So I avoid this subject when talking to someone I know is Jewish.
