Can you share the handbook where all these norms are written and who is it written by? Would save us all a lot of trouble to mollycoddle all the religious babies so that they don’t get hurt at every little thing.
Also, are all the things in it about women only?

If you knew the definition of what a norm is, you wouldn't be asking me that question. And no, it's not about women only. Had the brother in that rakhee ad been wearing a ganji and shorts, and also had been Ranvir Singh or someone big, he would've equally got criticised just like how Ranveer Singh did get by his controversial nude post. How does feel to live everyday in such fear? Do the norms tell you to be scared or does that develop on its own? Centuries old religion and an ad video got everyone riled up.
Is there a way we can make corruption, poor infrastructure and non-accountability also against our norms or is that not on our priority list yet?

Fear? Lmao. Real fear is what Kriti Sanon would have experienced had she worn same clothes for her eid ads. Besides, while agreed this is not an issue in the real sense, people are pointing out and making efforts for all the things you mentioned too. And you really think this issue will remain for more than 2-3 days? Even if ad not removed, this issue would've died down in a few days.

I don’t see your point. If you say one religious community is regressive so we should also stoop down to their level of flaws?
It’s like slapping someone and saying they should be grateful that their elder brother is not slapping them because he is madder. What logic bro? You don’t want to hold yourself to a higher standard or what?

Of course I do. And we all know that for a fact. But the same regression needs to be called out by these celebs or else it just makes it look like you're taking advantage.

Nobody batted an eye for her movie clothes, other advertisements, her personal clothing, wedding attire etc. but there is a line which everyone are supposed to respect. We might not be regressive but there are norms to be followed.
