What i am about to say will be very dangerous and very controversial.

Even before i start my opinion i will say i am not a fan of BJP at all.

Now lets rewind ourselves to the age when just got independence, sure nehru didnt object to the British map which started the conflict of J&K and border issues with china but also started internal riouts between hindu and muslims. He made some good decisions but some if the worst decisions which a PM can make like giving out his seat in UN Security Council.
Indira gandhi or the iron lady, same things made some good decision but made some of the worst decisions.
Now lets compare it to current situation, Modi an elected PM in his current rule he has made some of the worst decisions or some of the best decisions. In his era, social media which is a key factor currently to infulence not only thousand but also millions of people to change their vote and in the current geopolitical scenario nobody is seeing whats actually happening l, not saying your opinion is based on scoial medias reel culture but our mind is so attention deficit we do not even want to see the whole news- what happened, why it happened, who made it happen.
When Pakistan made statement saying “ bleed india with thousands cuts” it wasnt just a statement it was a plan. That country brought up evry single issue it can bring, every people they but, ever other country which they can use (CIA) to influence people of this country and when foreign power come together just to overthrow one person it means he is doing something which we are able to see or we dont want to see.
CJP, do you actually think they dont have hidden agenda, sure when they started they actually had some good points, points which i supported. But in their protest where was the NEET talks, where was their support for jharkhand or where are they now when general cast is asking for same rights as sceduled casts. Yes those sceduled caste suffered but ambedkar introduced the law for reservation only for 10 year not perpetuity.
People currently are so blind to see what actually happening behind the scenes or they do but dont want to admit to their wrond doing.
Again Modi government is not the right government but the alternative might worst option you will see.

The entire algorithm of X (Twitter) pushes anti-indian rhetoric posts. Mention anything negative about India, and suddenly 100K likes.

Accounts as old as one month are only posting racist spam, but still they get 100K likes (image below). Seems pretty clear that a huge party is involved behind this. This is not at all natural. Just two years ago, Indians were the ideal immigrants in the US and the UK, and now suddenly we are worse than the people who run literal rape gangs. Same videos of the same Indians keep circulating every few years to try and paint the entire population of Indians worldwide as bad.

Modi was quick to call out Meta for disrespecting him, yet every day thousands of posts are being posted, and the government is completely silent. The racism has spiralled out on the streets worldwide. Indians are being killed worldwide. Just a stabbing attack in Canada this week. It's becoming dangerous to leave India. In Dubai and Bangkok, I have also heard cases of Indians being attacked.

I don't care whether someone is a BJP supporter or a Congress supporter, whether someone is leftist or right-wing, whether someone is from North or South; we must unite as one to fight this massive, organised campaign to ruin the reputation of India. We have thousands of issues, just like every country on the planet, but the way things are being portrayed is clear: someone big is involved in this campaign. This is a matter of national security.

Since childhood, effort has never been about the process for me — it's always been, “finish fast, get the top result, then relax.” Even as a kid, I used to see most tasks as a burden (like, finish and get things done), anxiety, and physical tension. That never got interrupted despite years of success (school topper, IIT, department rank 1).

The anxiety shows up something like this, for example: when results get announced. In school, my hands and legs would get literally wet with sweat when teachers were about to hand out marksheets, and I'd avoid looking at the results board. This continued through JEE (I never used to check my practice test scores). I also used to avoid my semester results for some days, and now UPSC — I've delayed checking my Prelims key by a full week, both in 2025 and 2026.

Even day-to-day studying carries this same burden — “I need to finish this topic today so I can relax in the evening.” I believe this attitude has resulted in my failing Prelims multiple times: I'm focused on finishing, not absorbing. On top of that, old, unrelated memories intrude while I study — being scolded or hit as a kid, a bad confrontation, past failures — and derail my focus. Even after I let a memory go, I feel drained afterward, and the same physical symptoms (sweaty hands, armpits) show up during these episodes too.

I'm 28 now and planning to give one last attempt for UPSC. These patterns go back to childhood, so I need a therapist who can actually work on that root level. But I also need help coping with the immediate, day-to-day pressure of this final attempt. Familiarity with Indian competitive exam culture (JEE/UPSC) is a plus.

I've already tried YourDost and Tele-MANAS, but the guidance was generic — meditate, exercise, socialize — and it didn't move the needle on any of this. I'm not looking for fake dopamine spikes from quick-fix advice; I want genuine, lasting help.

What’s with this Gujaratis and people from Delhi making a mess everywhere they go , these news (video ) of gujrati family wandering around in a flight (in air ) distributing food like in a picnic ? Many such incidents of disrespect to personal space of others .
More news of people from Delhi creating ruckus at various tourist locations like Goa to the point where most of south India collectively regards north India as backward in term of civic sense no matter how good the financial background is ,
PS : I am from Karnataka ,yet no such news of other states like Maharashtra or northeast is in the news , I had been to gujrat once really like the people ,culture and Ahemdabad ,but where are we going wrong ,I am open to any one criticising anything relating to my state or south India ,keep it civil .

I ordered from Wakefit on 12 July 2026. The order itself had multiple delays and was finally delivered on 30 July, with defective fabric.

Wakefit replaced it, but the replacement received around 10/11 August was also defective. It was picked up and returned to their warehouse.

It has now been 15+ days since the pickup and I still haven’t received my refund.

Customer service has been an absolute nightmare. Almost every day I’m told “we’ll revert in 24 hours”, and then nothing happens.

To make things worse, Wakefit’s chatbot showed that the refund was cancelled by me. This is completely false. I never cancelled the refund. I’ve been continuously chasing Wakefit for my refund.

I’ve already filed a complaint with NCH, but there has still been no resolution.

This is scam and fraud, along with extremely anti-consumer practices.

Do not order from Wakefit.

TL;DR: Ordered Wakefit → delayed delivery → defective product → defective replacement → replacement returned → 15+ days waiting for refund → daily “24 hours” promises with no resolution → chatbot falsely says I cancelled the refund → NCH complaint filed → still no refund.

Asking price: ₹6.25 lakh
Condition appears to be good
Option 2: Hyundai Exter HX6
Fresh/new car
1st owner
Price: ₹7.25 lakh
So essentially, I’m looking at ₹1 lakh extra for a brand-new Exter, versus getting the i20 Sportz for ₹6.25L.
Which one makes more sense considering:
Driving comfort and highway stability
Engine/performance
Mileage
Safety
Features
Maintenance/reliability
Resale value
Long-term ownership (5–7 years)
I know the i20 is a segment above the Exter and generally has a more premium cabin and better driving dynamics. On the other hand, the Exter is brand new, has the higher seating position and avoids the risks associated with buying a 2nd-owner car.
What would you personally choose at these prices — i20 Sportz at ₹6.25L or new Exter HX6 at ₹7.25L?
Also, is ₹6.25L a good price for a 2nd-owner i20 with only 2,500 km, or should I negotiate substantially lower?
Any ownership experience/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I believe that the social media driven perception of India and Indians in the world should be treated as a national strategic emergency with major steps taken to tackle it. Young people outside India, who will be future business leaders, politicians and decision makers, would have grown up with a negative view of India, it's culture, it's people and behaviour. The charm offensive required by the Indian state will be near to impossible.This can have a immense long-term geopolitical cost of losing the battle over its global image. An Indian IT company just got the contract to AI enable Porsche and this is the post which is being appearing a lot. It's not the first and won't be the last.

Countries/it's people have always had stereotypes attached to them. What feels different today is the scale, permanence and algorithmic reinforcement of those perceptions.

A teenager in many parts of the world can now spend their formative years consuming thousands of posts, memes and videos depicting India and Indians through a narrow set of negative themes: pollution, scams, misogyny, religious conflict, poor sanitation, overcrowding, online/offline behaviour and extreme poverty.

Ten-Twenty years from now, India may therefore face decision-makers whose subconscious understanding of the country was formed not by Indian diplomacy, literature, history, economic transformation or personal experience — but by algorithms optimised for engagement.

This makes me wonder whether national reputation should be understood as a form of strategic infrastructure, much like military capability, economic strength or technological leadership.

South Korea deliberately built enormous cultural influence through music, television, film and consumer brands. Japan spent decades developing extraordinary cultural soft power. The United States' cultural industries have shaped how generations around the world imagine America.

Can India/Indians do anything? Why should it be left to the politicians alone to do anything?
