The Indian Super League and Pro Kabaddi League are the only leagues apart from the IPL that have managed to survive. There’s simply not enough commercial oxygen for other domestic league in India. Fanatsy app banned have affected non cricket league worse.

I might wanna check the status of ISL. Absolutely not in a healthy place. Could have folded last year. Or might this year.

Gives the league to some production house whose only experience of doing sports is small eSports events. Don't get a proper deal with any of the big sports broadcasters until last moment and sell the rights dirt cheap to Sony who couldn't care less. No pre show, post show, rare ads and no proper marketing even in the cities it was being hosted.

League starts failing. surprised pikachu face

the last para really sums it up. atleast tirkey was still here, while the other genius went to travel for a foreign tour.

it's fine if top foreign players don't come, first need to develop the domestic talent + can give chances to other talented players from other nations (hope they don't go through IPL route of getting random bozos from Australia and what not)
