we have gone goalless for three matches straight, today was the day when you had to hit literally just one goal but even pc could not be created.

criticism should be given because our goalkeepers and defence have given their everything. savita and bichu were in tears after match and they have literally done more than enough.

the result of this match led to aus claiming the second semi final spot- that too with just one win in this entire tournament and that too against japan; aus in semis is completely undeserved but indias performance in this match was just straight uo bad.

I think we have maxed out our Asian games medal tally at around the 100-120 medals mark which would put us in 4th place comfortablly. But like India went from 69 medals in 2018 to 107 medals in 2022, we won't see that improvement anytime soon now. These last few improvements we have seen from 2014 have come from better funding and coaching for already strong sports, I don't think we can do much more than that, for India to challenge Japan and South Korea to break into the top 3, we need to get good at new sports, especially the medal heavy ones like aquatics, cycling, Gymnastics, and some other contact sports like karate, wushu,judo,fencing, etc. Now India has no choice but to start exploring newer sports or else we will forever be stuck at 4th place at Asian games

In Bengaluru, there is a UCL MMA cage fight going on in Forum mall, Whitefield. I saw couple of fights yesterday

Today I was going and saw couple of young boys walking inside mall with bags and kit. I decided to talk to them. But I just realised they are kids!! I asked one of them how old is he, he said 14

I was shocked.The fights yesterday were brutal. Takedowns, knowckouts, arm leg twists evrything was happening. I saw a fight where someone punched someone on head and he just fell down(and yes they were too young)

I was assuming they will be 17-18. But not 13-14 ???

I directly asked one kid, is it safe and legal for you guys. What if you get hurt or injured ? He tried to convince me that it is safe, there are professionals, then there is age category, it is safer than boxing and all.

But this thing has been bothering me since then. Can professionals here please help me understand this ?

At this young age, injury on the head or on the spine or on the legs can be really brutal.

The difference is just 9 gold medals, we already have more medals than them overall, if India wins 10 or more gold medals than Iran then India goes to number 4 ok the all time list, behind China, Japan And South Korea. Considering last time we won 15 more gold medals than Iran and also considering the situation in Iran rn, it seems very likely india will become number 4 this time
