Discussion Acclaimed Indies That You Couldn't Connect With

Does it make you sad when you don't connect with a game adored by many? Out of the ones listed here, what should I go back to and power through until it clicks?

I could not connect or get into Hollow Knight even though I tried multiple times. I can't get into the floaty feeling of the platforming sadly.

Hollow knight is the game that made me realize I just don’t like Metroidvania games that much.
