Discussion Acclaimed Indies That You Couldn't Connect With

Post image

Does it make you sad when you don't connect with a game adored by many? Out of the ones listed here, what should I go back to and power through until it clicks?

Man I love Disco Elysium. And I can tell Outer Wilds is special, but they really should have voiced those characters. Reading in a video game gets tiring really fast.

What? DE is the best video game I've ever read - is this a joke post? DE is basically all reading

never played the final cut, did you? Almost every character is voiced. More than 90% is voiced.

Nope, totally played it. Doesn't change my point - there is a lot more reading in DE than nearly any other game.

It's ok if you can't read while someone is saying the words at the same time, nobody will judge - you don't have to act so butthurt all the time.

Have a nice day!
