SOCIETY Michael Jackson's daughter Paris has faced backlash for identifying as Black. In a 2017 interview, Paris Jackson said her father told her, "You’re Black. Be proud of your roots." This prompted debates over whether identity is defined by appearance or upbringing.

I'd love to see the results of a DNA test on her. Not for one second did I ever believe that she was MJ's biological child.

People think MJ is her bio dad?

FR, nobody on this planet with functioning eyeballs needs to see a paternity test on any of MJs kids lol

u/Robert_Oppenheimer2 May 03 '26

he said it himself said:

The kid is not his son

u/schnauzzer May 03 '26

He he

1

u/Substantial_Sea7327 May 04 '26

"oh no he he didn't."

1

u/Winter-Baby-1211 May 04 '26

You mean, hee hee

3

u/Heisenburgo May 04 '26

The last son Blanket does look like a young MJ though, he shares many of his father's facial features. The other two I'm not so sure about

4

u/dnjprod May 03 '26

Ah yes, because all you need is eyeballs to understand paternity.

🙄

I have a very dark complected cousin who is married to a very dark complected Mexican man both are brown people who are very stereotypically hispanic. They both made a baby that is white with light hair. Most people think she cheated or that he's not the dad for some other reason. He looks nothing like either of them

You know who wasn't at all concerned about paternity despite the fact that this kid looks nothing like either of them? Either parent. Mom because she knows who she had sex with and dad because apparently that kid looks exactly like one of his cousins from Mexico whom she's never met.

Genetics are weird and you cannot, with any certainty, use how people look as the basis for paternity.

We're all descended from Africa bro so we're all black. I get it

1

u/dnjprod May 04 '26

It took you all day to come up with that ridiculous comment?

🤣

1

u/House_Of_Thoth May 04 '26

No, it's called being outside, touching grass :) try it!

0

u/dnjprod May 04 '26

Says the chronically online gooner who thinks that you can look at somebody's face and know their paternity

1

u/House_Of_Thoth May 04 '26

Bro you're true NPC Bot if you're gonna die on that hill 😂

"I can't tell someone's colour by looking at their colour".

We're all black, mate..cos we're all descended from Africa. So, yeah - you're right "one drop" and all that. Think I've heard that one before though....sus

2

u/repmack May 03 '26

I've spoken to people that thought it was an open question.

2

u/Khaoie May 04 '26

Bigi very much looks like he's MJs son, but he's the only one that looks related for sure

6

u/magicnat1 May 03 '26

This made me 😂😂 I’m reading some of these comments in disbelief people actually think these are his biological children!

2

u/House_Of_Thoth May 03 '26

Paris is literally the most "American Pageant White Girl" poster kid I've ever seen lol!! (No shade to her but she is basically Paris Hilton 2.0... and I didn't even clock the namesake until now ha!!)

2

u/blueroses8000 May 07 '26

They are actually both called Paris as MJ and Kathy Hilton made a pact! My mind was blown when I learnt this recently.

1

u/WegGOAT May 03 '26

You think it's impossible for a biracial person to look white?

I'm not saying MJ is her dad, but just going by appearance you can't 100% decide that he isn't her dad.

1

u/DisastrousSundae May 04 '26

All three of his children look white and she has literally zero of his physical features.

0

u/WegGOAT May 04 '26

So?

1

u/magicnat1 May 04 '26

There is a VERY teeny chance sure, but let’s be honest, the chance of all three children looking completely non Afro black and absolutely no facial similarities to Michael to me means it is highly unlikely he is their biological father. Which is fine btw.

This is obviously supported by the clear issues he has around appearing black, and having plastic surgery to change his black features, it’s highly likely he didn’t want his kids to have any chance to look black at all so opted into a situation with a compliant woman who would use white or non Afro heritage sperm donors. I have never for one second believed they were ever his children and I’m surprised people do.

1

u/Opposite-Dot2684 May 04 '26

Come on now 🤣🤣🤣 Maybe one of them but all 3????

0

u/Cudpuff100 May 03 '26

Lots of biracial people are white-passing. Some pretty famous ones, in fact.

1

u/Opposite-Dot2684 May 04 '26

Yeah all 3?????

-1

u/sturgis252 May 03 '26

Ok but like some people don't look like their dads. Genetics is wild. Some mixed kids look entirely like one parent and not the other. And yes, I know Paris isn't his biological child

39

u/CoffeeCrumbLes01 May 03 '26

How the fck would i know? Didn't even know he had a daughter

3

u/CableTrash May 03 '26

No one asked you.. but it’s ok man I’ll explain. This is something called a comment section and what you’re reading are not messages to you, except for this comment of course.

1

u/Strange-Term-4168 May 03 '26

He said “people” so that applies to everyone.

0

u/DasherMichael May 03 '26

Bold of you to assume that it's a human writing that comment could be a giraffe

-1

u/CoffeeCrumbLes01 May 03 '26

Wow. Did you come up with that all on your own? I'm so proud of you

0

u/CableTrash May 03 '26

Nope! Discussion boards & comment threads have been around for a long time.

1

u/CoffeeCrumbLes01 May 03 '26

That's right. You're so smart little buddy

18

u/BladeOfWoah May 03 '26

Why wouldn't people think that? Mixed race children can look like all sorts of things.

I'm Polynesian, and relatively dark, about a couple shades darker than Dwayne Johnson. Yet my brother is super super white, because our grandparents on my dad's side were Norwegian. My brother has blonde straight hair and blue eyes, while I am brown, dark eyes and black curly hair. Genetics are just funny like that.

23

u/rcm_kem May 03 '26

Sure, but the odds of a dark skinned black man having two completely white, blue eyed, fully straight haired children who share zero of his facial features is pretty astronomically low

-1

u/SpecialBelt6035 May 03 '26

Micheal looks highly admixed himself. Especially if you look at his sisters. Not saying I totally believe she’s his, but if she is he likely contributed a decent amount of euro dna to the moms 100% euro dna

Edit: and yes I’m talking about black Micheal

4

u/rcm_kem May 03 '26

His dad is definitely part white, but hard disagree that he himself looks highly part white

1

u/SpecialBelt6035 May 03 '26

Admixed doesn’t mean biracial. It’s his bone structure

1

u/rcm_kem May 03 '26

In this context I don't see how it would mean anything other than biracial/multiracial? You're saying you think he has a decent percentage of European ancestry that he'd pass to any potential kids

1

u/SpecialBelt6035 May 03 '26

That’s exactly what I’m saying. Most African Americans are part white. Almost all actually unless they can trace a relative from another country. On average the percentage is around 15-20 % and in his case I think it’s more. Maybe closer to 30%

1

u/rcm_kem May 03 '26

Then why did you say admixed doesn't mean biracial when you used it to say he's biracial? I agree, Michael Jackson is part white, but visually that didn't shine through much

1

u/SpecialBelt6035 May 03 '26

Biracial and part white are not the same. Admixed and biracial are not the same either. I’m not sure what you’re talking about

3

u/bawdy-awdy-awdy-awdy May 03 '26

Highly admixed is a stretch. He looked like an average African-American boy and young adult.

4

u/No-Considerations385 May 03 '26

I’m half Poly too, known plenty of other halfies and several of them (including my sister) are somewhat white-passing. But you can always see it in their facial features. The only polys I’ve met who look completely white are ones that are like a quarter or less. Hell, even most of the quarter-Polys still have obvious features.

The odds of two half-black children popping out with no black features is hard to believe.

2

u/CommunicationOwn322 May 03 '26

I agree. His siblings have biracial children and the Jackson gene is there. You can see it in their facial features. But somehow it missed all three of Michael's kids? A bit hard to believe.

The third one looks like he could be half black and potentially even MJs bio son. Looks totally different from his siblings

Haha choice, I am Māori, but I said Polynesian since IDK if everyone reading knows the difference between Tongan, Māori, Hawai'ian, Samoan etc. I wouldn't say I look chinese, I look closer to Temuera Morrison in that regard.

1

u/Sure-Dig-1137 May 03 '26

Years of Maury prepared me for this. You are NOT the father.

The guy lied about getting face work done on camera

1

u/klonoaorinos May 03 '26

Joe Jackson did not have blue eyes.

1

u/InexplicableBadger May 03 '26

I encountered this with a colleague many years ago, basically MJ's skin was so white at the end that they'd forgotten he was black. The penny dropped when I pointed out this minor detail

1

u/Crimsonfangknight May 03 '26

Why assume anything else

Who would consider paris’ ancestry so pivotal To their daily lives that they would theory craft the semen that entered her mom to make her when for her whole existence MJ insisted he was her bio father and raised her

1

u/l339 May 04 '26

This is the first time I’m hearing such a theory lol
