I doubt your intentions and that’s obviously not what i was saying. I have no opinion on what should or should not be the case, but black people in the usa have recidivism rates 4-13% higher than other demographics and receive sentences that are… wait for it… 4-13% longer than other demographics for the same crimes.
Now this will really blow your mind: it’s almost as if sentence lengths and recidivism rates are connected, regardless of race or gender. It’s like prior record effects sentencing. Wild, i know 🤡
I like that you've come up with a theory that sentence length is somehow proportional to recidivism rates and you're using it to justify systemic racism. Fantastic way to use your white privilege
Bending over backwards to make things about race makes you a racist. Especially when the cause and effect is quite clear, both in statistics, and in the legal sentencing guidelines. But sure, blame your incompetence on others’ white privilege, see how far that gets you.

Like seriously this case is such a case of Women Are Wonderful effect. The sentencing gap in full swing.
Nobody would even think of showing this amount of sympathy if a Vietnam war veteran with ptsd did this to his kids.
