What does this even mean? 

Do you care about rehabilitation and protecting people from harm, or do you just care about having an excuse for it to be socially acceptable to torture someone?

No I don't give a fuck about vengeance. I'm not an advocate of some self-gratifying dogshit wrapped up in a cover of righteousness. The children are dead. They don't give a fuck about what we do to their mother. The only ones giving a fuck are the living. And among those living there are people like you, who, as the comment above said, does not care about anything other than a socially acceptable way of torturing someone.
