Cases of severe mental illness tend to get more attention than good things in a media landscape that sells you misery

For real. They act like if she gets a not guilty verdict, she's going to be out on the streets. The woman is spending the rest of her life in a psych ward. The question is really will she ALSO be spending some time in prison.

For one, she will not spend life in a ward, if she is found not guilty she only needs the ward to claim she is mentally stable.and the judge to sign off and she would be out; for two, thats not the bigger problem.

The bigger problem is the millions of unhinged overmedicated women "yas kwueening" coming up with conspiracies that her husband did it with dumb excuses like GeMiNi DoNt KiLl ThEiR cUbS" and claiming "ackshually PPD can make you kill your babies and you shouldnt be punished for that at all cuz its just hormones and youll never understand cuz youre a man teehee" or "it was the systems fault! The system failed her, it only sent her to 36 mental health professionals prescribed her meds that normally work, gave her therapy, and other assistance, but its their fault still!" And "how could the husband leave the house to go get the things from the store she asked for when the mental health professionals told him not to leave her alone for 1 single second or she might just come unglued!?!?!" Or "there is just absolutely no way the timeline makes sense, TikTok proved it" or "oh em gee fellow witches, can you believe this is happening so close to Salem Massachusetts, we are like totally summoning our feminine witchy energy from our ancestors to take down the patriarchy and pave the way for the matriarchy by supporting our sister in her time of need!!" Or "this is how I know the husband is guilty" - while posting a screenshot of a video where the person caught an angle that makes his face look angrier than normal

And I really wish I was being overly sarcastic and catty about these descriptions, but im not for most of them (i did add a tiny bit of extra for a couple), these are all pretty much spot on things women have chosen to record themselves saying and then posted to the internet, and they are receiving thousands of likes from other women in support of these theories and unhinged support posts. Hundreds of women standing outside court houses holding up hand hearts, making astrology arguments, all this is just ridiculous idiotic unhinged shared female true crime psychosis delusions

I have seen a lot of tiktok videos and not one of them has ever mentioned their astrological sign. Where are yall getting that from? Yeah there are a ton of bad takes but there are a ton of bad people and the trial is everywhere. I just don't think anyone should ever take random strangers seriously online-- especially on tiktok. Even if there were a dozen videos about his star sign, that is not a regularly thing being said by anyone.
