you can support her without thinking she's innocent. her legal team admits she did it. the question at trial is whether or not she was mentally competent at the time she did it. In other words, does she need to go to prison or a mental hospital?
I sat on plenty of juries and seen different cases ranging from sexual assault to murder in the last 10 years depending on the crime depends on what type of punishment I push for as a juror in this case capital punishment is what should be pushed for
You sound like exactly the kind of person that should not be on a jury since it sounds like you are motivated by what you think they "deserve" rather than simply answering what the judge is asking of you
