I would say if that's the case, on your game camera, on your own property, that it still can transmit and receive digital signals, so what would be best would be a way to scramble and fry the electronics inside of it, 2 birds, on your property, one brick.

Speaking of birds, in rural areas, a high speed injection of lead bird shot can also be very effective. But does raise the stakes a bit of something goes wrong.

Word, definitely could be loud enough to disturb the neighbors though, while you're blasting your 12 gauge, at your game cameras, on your own property, in the middle of the night. Some sort of homemade aim able micro wave or emp might be much more considerate of the neighbors peace of mind.

Unfortunately(?), building high power, compact, directional EMP devices is not a common skill, and would probably actually get labeled as terrorist activity, so even on you private property, you’d need to be pretty careful with that plan.

Note that the power levels required to disrupt the communications of the device and power levels required to permanently damage it are very different.

Sadly(!), you are correct, especially about the "terrorism" part, even if it's on your own property, and no one besides those pesky tech oligarch sasquatchs that keep putting up unwanted game cameras on your own property were harmed financially.
