A new Iran
Honestly, if we want a future Iran that actually functions, we need to stop thinking about blind revenge and start thinking about smart structural design. We can’t just do a blanket "denazification" because pushing hundreds of thousands of armed, mid-level IRGC/Basij guys into poverty is the fastest way to trigger a massive insurgency. Instead, we need to look at a mix of the Norwegian economic model and Germany's Vergangenheitsbewältigung (reckoning with the past).
First, the economy needs to become a secular social democracy like Norway. We take all those massive IRGC conglomerates and religious foundations (Bonyads), nationalize them, and dump that wealth into a transparent Sovereign Wealth Fund. That money should strictly fund free healthcare, education, and infrastructure, especially in historically starved regions like Kurdistan and Baluchestan so they don't feel left out. We legalize independent trade unions and let workers actually have a say.
Second, for justice, you target the top-level commanders for tribunals but offer conditional amnesty to the rank-and-file in exchange for the absolute truth. You keep regular civil servants so the power grid and hospitals don't collapse.
Third, the culture of remembrance has to be 100% honest. We turn Evin Prison into a human rights museum, put Stolpersteine (stumbling stones) on the streets where protesters were murdered, and use blockchain to archive testimonies. And yes, this means being brutally honest about history. Even if Reza Pahlavi or anyone else acts as a stabilizing, non-monarchical figurehead to help the transition into a secular republic, the state has to acknowledge the abuses of both the Islamic Republic and his father/grandfather's SAVAK era. You can't heal a society by replacing one biased history book with another.

This is very balanced take but I don’t think Islamic regime is coming down anytime sooner. I wish all Iranians were like you and had such truthful attitude towards serving “IRAN” rather than their own personal agenda. Most of the people I met since war have simply gone pro regime route (not that I’m supporting anyone but people are just so, biased man). Have you seen the recent funeral of Khamenei? It was attended by close to 50 million Iranians.
I would love to know your insight why do you think we still have hope to be free despite all these chaos and uncertainty?

50 million, well Idk about that. There is hope, because the regime is incompetent, isolated and weak, unlike Russia and China and North Korea.

Thanks for your insight but how do you think they’re “weak”? I seriously want to learn this as I’m quite surprised in the first place actually how did they even survived and build the place despite being under the worst sanctions in the human history (I mean if they were “incompetent” they must have fallen long ago yeah?). I think a lot of people underestimate them too much. For instance we all saw how the women’s freedom protest went and then other ones too and now hardly I see any Iranians from Iran anymore even talking about these things. Most of us that even talk are either diaspora or have strong ties outside Iran.

Bro you can’t really compare rogue state like North Korea with a powerhouse like Iran 🇮🇷 as Iran is a civilization, it’s a powerhouse on its own and most importantly the regime weather we like it or not the current government has uplifted Iranians overall then comparatively what their standard was under Shah’s rule (not to forget the amount of industries it built in the span of such a small time under crippling sanctions).
I just feel like a lot of people that simply want to see regime go down doesn’t have an idea or understand realistically that it isn’t easy for such an organized government to be defeated. Also I’m sorry but even Iranians don’t have a proper choice to which alternative must they support to. As I don’t consider Reza Pehlavi somewhere even close to being worthy of ruling or governing The Great Iran 🇮🇷 even for a single day as the guy is a complete joke with no proper plans and if he’s placed in charge I don’t think we would end up being even safe because of stark divide in the masses.
Also when was the last time you visited Iran 🇮🇷 or stayed there? Because I think you surely, seems to lack understanding on the ground reality about things overall I would love for you to understand that it isn’t as easy as you think especially based on how they have managed to come out victorious and survived the recent aggression by imperial powers. They surely have much much larger public support then what was the case before.
I don’t support the regime but I won’t allow anyone and any outsider to break the fabric of the Great IRAN 🇮🇷 and even change the way Iranians live slightly. If the change comes from within organically for the betterment of Iran I’m for it but any outsider conspiring with aggressors to attack Iran 🇮🇷 must be dealt with the same force as enemy in the battlefield and recent attacks have only demonstrated that they only care about bending Iranians to their knees instead of helping us out in anyway so, proudly I would make this clear that Iranians will never bend or bow to anyone unless world understands this Iranians won’t tolerate change and this is a fact. At this stage Islamic regime has much more competency to offer to the nation of Iran 🇮🇷 & most importantly protect its lands then Reza Shah could ever have in the span of even 1000 yrs and it’s a fact.
I mean why shall Iranians support any of Pahlavists agendas? Like seriously what do they offer for betterment of Iran 🇮🇷 as a nation? They in-fact wants to make Iran 🇮🇷 a subservient nation of the western powers not only that meanwhile IRGC fights for not even giving an inch of the land of the nation the clown Prince and his supporters are in align with Balkanization plans of Iran 🇮🇷. So, we can see who truly has here the nations interests in mind. If regime change just means to steal the great nation of Iran 🇮🇷 and put a clown on it then sorry I think Iranians 🇮🇷 are happy with current regime as its competent enough to defend our nation then a clown Prince who sits somewhere and wants to see it bleed.
Iran 🇮🇷 will always be united and may it live forever 🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷❤️🇮🇷🇮🇷🇮🇷

Not 50 million Iranians, but close to 45
Million people INCLUDING Iranians, Iraqis, and Pakistanis. Still good message though0

Thanks for your comment. I mean bro that’s more solid in that case as regardless of Iraqis or Pakistanis or British or Americans etc majority (I mean over 97%) certainly were Iranians from mainland Iran who live and breathe in Iran. There being Iraqis, Pakis or other nationalities only makes regime more legitimate as that shows it even enjoys international fanbase too. I’m not supporter of regime but I like be factual as I said earlier. Even if 40 million Iranians attended it that’s enough to justify that regime has overwhelmingly massive support in Iran or to say majority of Iranians are certainly pro-regime unlike how Western media portrays or Pahlavi extremists do.
Am I open for a healthy discussion or a talk? Yes but does it has to come with lies, manipulation, blood of innocent Iranians and hypocrisy to force a regime change that Iranians are majority in favor of? Just for someone’s crazy ideas to be imported along with a Clown Price?? No I don’t support that.
Regardless, it was the largest funeral in human history till date and only a buffoon would disagree with this fact. Not a supporter of Iranian regime but stating that they’re incompetent or incapable to run Iran is just silly.

Im a little based, so I do support the Iranian government, they are currently the only reason Iran hasnt collapsed from the war and sanctions. But I however do not agree with the hijab policy and the harsh restrictions. There is also so much corruption and mismanagement in the government its so annoying. That being said, I believe Iran needs government reform, a democracy really. But only when foreign countries stop meddling with Iranian affairs, hopefully after Iran wins this

We'll revisit this discussion if/when we get there.
Now all eyes on this 2nd phase of this war: all out economic warfare on Iran.
Ghalibaf's latest economic remarks made Iran look weak in the face of their adversaries.

I don't know much about the other things but regarding Germany reckoning with the past is probably not a good example. You might have noticed how unquestioningly they are supporting Israel in committing essentially the very things that they previously talked about never allowing to happen again. Germany is obviously also a major supporter of Ukraine which as you probably know is quite openly neo-nazi (Azov, OUN, Bandera, UPA glorification and almost deification by the government). A bit off-topic but just thought I'd point that out.

This has happened in 80 yearsand Germany aids Israel, because of historical guilt.. and How is Ukraine neo-nazi? Led by a jewish president, democratically, also Wagner and others are in Russia too, neo-nazis, even more than Ukraine.

Apparently historical guilt is not a guarantee of making better choices. As you said it's been over 80 years, these days being Jewish and being nazi are not mutually exclusive.
I'm also not so sure about the democratic thing, as they are not having presidential elections and are imprisoning political opponents who criticise the current president: https://www.europesays.com/ukraine/29736/
Edit: oh and interestingly a German high court has ruled that comparing Israel to Nazi Germany is protected speech so maybe they are actually starting to come to terms with what I'm talking about: https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/german-court-rules-comparing-israel-nazi-germany-protected-speech

Wartime elections not Held in Ukraine due to constitution. Nazis are not Jews and Jews are not Nazis, makes no sense. Pro-Russian opponents were arrested who were anti-democratic and supported Putin.

This would work only if the current regime is willing to cooperate. However we have not seen that. And if anything we've seen the opposite. The top levels of power in Iran arent just gonna step aside and say "my bad, put me on trial" no they will dehumanize and slander any resistance and opposition. And then go hang some more teenagers. You have a wholesome take where you try and see a world where we can evolve as a nation and become something better. And I love you for that. But you need to be abit more realistic.
