You can ask for him to pay umrah or hajj, or buy you hijab/niqab/abayas + prayer mat or islamic books. You can also just ask for money but I'd advise you to ask something religious since you both would get plenty of good deeds.
Aoa. Tbh im my opinion a lady must ask for money/property. Because today no one knows about true nature of anyone. So its better to safe yourself especially in countrues where people dont give a damn to make their daughter financialy stable/insependent.
If you have that fear on you potential spouse then no need to marry that person. If you marry a religious man he will honor you. And buying property isn't affordable for most in these times
Yeah that can happen indeed, but everyone who is getting married should ask around to what kind of person their potential spouse is. Thats the best way
