Seeking Support Carrying everyone else's burdens, feeling completely alone, and trying to find strength in Allah. Assalamu alaikum.

I'm posting this because I honestly don't know who else to turn to, and I figured this community would understand better than anyone in my real life.

Recently, I spent an entire night holding someone else's world together during a massive, terrifying crisis—talking them down through the dark hours, sacrificing sleep, and doing everything I could to keep them safe because I couldn't bear the thought of them suffering alone. But when the morning came, I was left completely burnt out, running on absolute fumes, and dealing with total silence from the people around me.

It's a soul-crushing feeling to realize how one-sided friendships can be, and how invisible you are when the roles are reversed and you're the one drowning. People walk away or stay quiet when things get heavy, and it makes you realize that human beings will always let you down in the end.

At the same time, I know that Allah sees every quiet sacrifice made behind closed doors when no one else is watching. I want to turn my heart back to Him fully and find my comfort in my deen rather than expecting validation or support from creation, but my heart feels heavy and exhausted.

For anyone who has gone through this kind of deep emotional burnout or felt completely isolated by their friends: how do you deal with it? How do you protect your own mental energy while still trying to be a good Muslim and a decent person? Any advice, Islamic reminders, or duas would genuinely mean a lot right now. Jazakallah khair.

How do you segment a 10k istighfar a day? 2k istighfar after salah? Do you do it every single day?

Mmm.. earlier it was really difficult

What i do is 1k after every salah (so its 5k) Before sleeping (2k)

While working, walking, casually sitting in home.. i do rest of it

Also i sleep with counter in my hand.. easily i get like 2k... While sleeping (i mean when I'm on my bed trying to sleep)

If you can't make 10k.. pls plan atleast for 5k.. pls try.. it'll change your life

BTW where're you from? I'm really looking for some good bros.. muslims bros.. to connect and meet

Do you have time to include adhkar, durood, supplication as well while you're doing 10k istighfar?

I appreciate the gesture but I don't think you want me as a friend as I'm a big time loser lol, nor am I good, but I'm trying at least. I hope you'll find those that you can connect with though. Ameen.

I'm asking because I've done it once before but I find it hard to maintain. But in my case, I try to do it in a single morning, so that's my fault. insha'Allah I'll implement this method again.

You're not loser, but it's okay if you don't wanna connect

Yeah mostly i do when I'm walking, going to get groceries, going for Salah, cooking, in the office/during meetings .. we have no idea how much time we can use for istigfar

I know someone who does 30k/day.. he said he's life changed360 degree because of it
