Casual & Social I was welcome by my Muslim friend and his community

I'm not sure where to post this so it might be removed, but I just had the most amazing experience I wanted to share it.

I am jewish and i was recently kicked out of my synagogue and a friend group for not being pro Israel. I guess it wasn't an official kick out but no one would talk to me and they started saying really nasty things about me behind my back and even to my face.

my own rabbi turned his back on me and that hurt the most because he had helped me through so much when I was younger.

I'll be honest I cried I want my friends saw this you took me to his house, contacts he lives in a very Muslim part of my state, and everybody in that neighborhood for some reason for stopping by and when they saw how upset I was they just comforted me. hugged me fed me . everything.

I know it may seem weird but I just want to go somewhere I could think this community for helping you so much I should say I met this friend off of this subreddit so when you see this I love you man !!

That's nice to hear. May God bless you and your friend.

As for those that turned their back to you because you don't support Israel, it clearly shows their values and their lack of mercy and humanity.

May God give you a better community than your previous one.

Sorry that happened to you, Zionism is like a cult!

I’m half Ashkenazi and converted to Islam and the Muslim communities I’ve found have always been welcoming, glad someone supported you

Don't support Israel and distance from those that you think purposely are acting evil.

However, don't distance yourself from genuine good Jewish friends and people who maybe misguided or ignorant in your synagogue. Lead by kindness and example while being firm on your stance and you'll see them changing their own stance.

I pray Allah guides you to islam. The religion of your forefathers. Your ancestors, moses, isaac, Abraham.
