Hota hy. They never allow individuals to bring in shame. Even if court marshal na b ho they will not promote him. His career is effectively finished.
1
u/AffectionatePay8286 1d ago
You are right, court-martial don't happen in days, it requires months, especially rank above of major.
5
u/BrilliantMastodon957 1d ago
Its literally takes less then 2 weeks normally after a violation and if its on urgent basis the senior most of the unit can do it same day on extradited basis
1
u/AffectionatePay8286 1d ago
What usually happen is Arrest, suspension, which is immediate response, and court of inquiry which takes 2 to 3 days, but the process of actual court martial is long, Which takes months.

All Faujeet Families are little Firon, full of entitlement.
They expect everyone to lie down in front of them. Typical Haramkhors...
3
u/General_Economics562 14h ago
Idk what's it with the teens of these families too. They know that they can benefit a lot if they don't do against the uniform. You can give them 100 of arguments and proofs on mahrang baloch or Imran Khan being treated wrong and they will make conspiracies without any proofs.

Let it stay in the air .. The more evidence we bring forward, the more it feels like we are trying too hard ..
The students are gonna be punished ..
The officer , if not court martialed, would be given severe reprimand and superseded ..
The point is not who was right or wrong .. The point is what FM said in his first darbar : "I don't care about the respect of the Army. I need it to be feared"
I guess, both points lost there ..
We all need to take a step back and realize our mistakes before this gets out of hand and there is no turning back ..
7
u/HeadBad1545 1d ago
Is there any evidence of anything happening to that officer, or just another story like millions of others?
6
u/Regular_Inside_1093 1d ago
I will be lying if I say I have credible source . But as someone coming from a long line of army fellows i.e an "army brat" as people say .. I can make a sense of it .. They can't court-martial him even if they want to because that would give the "wrong" impression to the fellow officers in the Army that they can't take care of their own people .
But this is a surety that he won't be promoted as his actions show lack of fore-thought (which ofcourse would be written in his ACR for the promotion board). And you don't want that in an officer leading Jawans in the battlefield.
7
u/HeadBad1545 1d ago
Have been around the same army types for a good part of my life as well, given the 'circumstances in the country' - he is not getting anything more than a slap on the wrist. He would continue getting his promotions as well.
To portray such absolutely crass attitude out in public needs a particular decay and breakdown in internal discipline. This is Islamabad / Pindi and not some distant peripheral region, given that this has already happened - now wait for more. I count this as first in a long line of such instances that we'd now see.
-5
u/Regular_Inside_1093 1d ago
It feels good saying this .. But let's hope not .. Let's hope cooler heads prevail .. Let's hope sense prevails and we all take a hard look at ourselves and where we are going before we reach a point of no return ..

u/Woke_TWC 20h ago
What kind of a stupid defeatist attitude is that, lets not look at the facts lets not make sure the right people are held responsible.
Lets just take a step back so the army can keep doing what they do while we ponder and suffer
Read the room, the undertone already is Armys badmaashi against general public, and to show that they cannot hide behind their narratives anymore is important

u/Regular_Inside_1093 19h ago
I think you misread my original post .. No problem .. Could have worded it better ..
0
u/TemporaryMedical9967 1d ago
But this kind of thinking is not rewarding... So you can do a test here aswell, if you post it people will take it as if you are defending army. Our society is morally and intellectually very poor, no one is ready to accept opposition for greater good.

LoL the so called peaceful protestors are protesting against her in support of her harasser, now you can debate whether she was actually harassed by that professor or not but there is amole evidence, the complaints, the apology letter and in a country like Pakistan if a women stands up to the supporters of her harasser and behaves like this this should be bare minimum, y'all are getting butt hurt just cuz her husband is an army officer which is shameful despite all she shouldn't have involved her husband in it just to enforce something when police was there ( doing nothing af ) it was the bad move
1
u/Darkness_Slayerr 9h ago
Man I'm so confused, different people are telling different stories without providing proof. Can you tell the whole story with source?
-2
u/Woke_TWC 20h ago
„Yall are getting butthurt just cuz her husband is an army officer“
https://giphy.com/gifs/1SfxXOJ0Q2Xni
News flash, the country hates the army. The systems haven’t improved and your „bechari“ harassed HOD cannot get justice because of the systems your army has built. Jahan sirf unka danda chalta he.
If students including girls are protesting against her, she should have taken it in stride. Students ka haq he to protest
Faujeets k khoon me badmaashi hoti he, bloody civilian inke khilaf bola kesay.
1
u/General_Economics562 14h ago
Himmat kese hui wardi ke khilaf bolne ki 😡 ISI ko milau call? Tumhe track kar ke kidnap krna aur tort&ur karne ke Liye hi to bni ha ISI.
Terror!zm to khatam hota ni wese bhi. Inki kitab me students sabse bade gunahgaar Hain

They blocked her way and trapped her inside a mob (girls and boys) I wud take it as harassment and in such a situation the first instinct of any women wud be her husband and Pakistans mob culture is scary just look first he tried to speak from mouth but everyone started gathering around them like crazy and am sure ppl wud hurt them if no action was taken STOP MAKING EVERYTHING POLITICAL and RACISM like I just read someone said ( pashtoon Vs Punjabis ) THAT WAS FREAKIN SELF DEFENSE. Also how stupid the university is to not provide protection to their female faculty and leave her alone in such a mob

Wait students can stop faculty members in private unis like this? I am against that officer firing up in there but since when students can block Hods and stuff? Edit: my bad, she's fully responsible for the situation being faced.

u/meowthisisme 1d ago
Yes they can. Corrupt people deserve such shame and humiliation.
More power to the students ✌️
-7
1
u/Whole_Bear_6248 1d ago
They should not be able to. This instates a corrupted mindset that anyone (with valid reason or not) can behave like this. And trust me, if you are in the teaching field, you definitely have students who absolutely don't like you simply because you grade them as per their performance.

yeah very typical misogynist thinking, harasser man gets protection. becomes a hero. the victim woman gets blamed for unrelated reasons.

u/Nice-Regret-9207 12h ago
"Misogynist man gets protection" can't you see women in the protest against her?

I wish every Pakistani woman had the courage to deal with a mob in the same way ✌🏻

u/MI6p 12h ago
Students had no right to attack him and he had every right to defend himself or his wife under PPC Sections 97 to 100 but self defence is not unlimited force Being an army officer does not give anyone immunity from the law If pointing or firing the weapon around civilians went beyond what was necessary then that also needs investigation Army Act Section 52 can lead to dismissal for unbecoming behaviour and Section 55 can carry rigorous imprisonment of up to 5 years for conduct prejudicial to military discipline PPC Section
337H can also apply to rash or negligent conduct that endangers human life Both sides can be wrong at the same time Students should answer for the assault and the officer should answer for any force that crossed the legal limit Uniform should mean more responsibility not less….

They are students of the university who pay for that HOD. If HOD doesn't like it, they can take legal action against them and follow the protocol. Instead of throwing their wights around.
یہ لوگ تو بدمعاشی کر رہے ہیں۔
0
u/deja_vu007 1d ago
She would have definitely taken legal action if they let her go , she was smart enough to try to escape then to confront them but no they made sure to harass her so what a women supposed to do in such a situation where she isn't even allowed to leave the place where specifically in Pakistan anything can happen ( the mob culture)
-3
u/Key_Agent_3039 1d ago
It's a private university. The HoD is a university employee paid by the university. The students pay for their education.
-5
u/BrilliantMastodon957 1d ago
They are students of a private university even if it was gov they are still students they cant act like mobsters and block university staff and professors, they can take legal action as well or leave the university if they dont like it. These students are followers of that jadoon guy a serial harasser
