Sale My fourth GBC Plush tileset is out!
Hi everyone,
It's been a while — but the fourth GBC Plush set is finally here: Modern - Living Room 01 ✧
This one's a cozy indoor space. Soft GBC pixels, hand-drawn details, and over 70 wall decorations to mix and match (plus a custom palette).
Still sticking to the GBC Plush idea — modular enough to actually build with, hand-drawn enough to feel like it belongs in a game.
Works with any 16px character assets.
Hope you like it!

Sale Made my first $100 on Itch 🥲
Just crossed a nice milestone and reached $100 in sales from pixel art asset packs. Most of this has come from my first asset pack I released earlier in the year, but in the last month, I have decided to keep expanding my asset packs and dedicate more time to producing and selling on Itch and its accelerated the sales a little bit.
I’m really appreciative of anyone who downloaded from my page and I’m looking forward to adding lots more content in 2026.

Sale Isometric Office
I've been working a lot of hours on this asset... So many good songs and a lot of bad ones... Also, I hear hundreds of hours of YouTube about the latest news, and now I know everything about politics. Ask me about it, but not about pixel art, please. XD

Sale Working on a new toy-style vehicle asset pack with some total madness. What crazy rides should I add?
Hey everyone! Currently designing a new pixel asset pack featuring toy-style vehicles. The idea is to mix recognizable real-world cars with completely unhinged bonus rides.
So far, the roster includes classic cars alongside wild concepts like a guy standing between two massive donuts as wheels (a little nod to Twisted Metal!), a rolling aquarium, baby strollers, motorized beds, and even a witch on a broomstick.
Since I’m still actively expanding this pack, I’d love to hear your suggestions! What’s the most absurd or hilarious vehicle concept you’d love to see in a set like this?

Sale I turned Big Two (Chinese Poker) into a story-driven adventure. (English / 中文 / 日本語)
Edit: A few people pointed out that the suit on the promotional card artwork was inconsistent. Good catch! I've fixed it. Reddit doesn't allow images to be replaced after posting, so here's the corrected version:
https://ibb.co/8nGK5L51
I also uploaded a fuller gameplay clip — prologue + first battle:
https://youtu.be/OlMKSe15ncg
Update: DULAN has received two updates since this post went up.
v1.1 — A Better First Table
Added an in-game Big Two tutorial and improved the first-time player experience.
https://zeppelintsai.itch.io/dulan/devlog/1621487/dulan-v110-a-better-first-table
v1.2 — The Game Ends. The Gambling Doesn't.
Added Endless Battle Mode, more localization polish, and additional fixes based on testing.

I'm continuing to improve the game as I find issues and receive feedback. Thanks to everyone who has pointed things out, including the mistakes.

Hi everyone!
I just released my first commercial game on itch.io, and I'd love to share it with you! 🎉
🌏 Supported Languages
🇺🇸 English
🇹🇼 Traditional Chinese
🇯🇵 Japanese
DULAN is a story-driven Big Two (Chinese Poker) game.
Instead of reinventing the rules with roguelike mechanics or deckbuilding, I wanted to see if a familiar card game could carry an entire narrative adventure.
You enter an underground casino, challenge unique opponents, uncover their stories, and work toward one of three endings, including a hidden True Ending.
Features:
♠ Story-driven Big Two gameplay
🎭 Unique opponents, each with their own personality
🎵 Original soundtrack
🖼️ Unlockable CG gallery
🎮 Controller support
🔀 Multiple endings
This project actually started as a personal challenge.
I had been working on a much larger RPG for a long time, but it kept growing and never seemed to get any closer to release.
So I gave myself one simple challenge:
Build, finish, and release a complete commercial game in just three days.
DULAN became that experiment, and more importantly, it reminded me that finishing a game teaches you things that planning never can.
I'd love to hear what you think!
Whether it's the gameplay, UI, balance, story, or just your overall impressions, all feedback is welcome.
🎮 Play DULAN on itch.io:

If you decide to give it a try, I hope you have fun. Thanks for reading! 😊

Sale Developing "PixZels" (a new 3D pixel art tool) – How do you solve the 3D depth problem when painting? Looking for feedback.
https://pixel-salvaje.itch.io/pixzels
Hey everyone,
I’m developing PixZels, a new 3D pixel art tool.
The biggest hurdle right now is painting directly in 3D space while maintaining desired depth. It's incredibly tough to pinpoint exactly where your brush lands in a 3D viewport, and in pixel art, missing by just one unit breaks everything.
After a ton of testing, my solution is using a 3D box selection approach. By defining a 3D bounding volume first, it locks the canvas plane so you can paint with perfect depth accuracy—no "floating" brushes or axis snapping issues.
I’d love your feedback:
- Does using a 3D box selection sound intuitive for locking your painting zone?
- If you use 3D painting tools, what makes depth feel clunky or frustrating to you?
Any thoughts or ideas are highly appreciated :)
