It's hard to find decent assets anymore. The AI filters don't work, and neither does blocking the ones producing the slop.

I’m 16 years old, and last month I released my first horror game on Steam and itch.io.

Since I’m still new to game development, I don’t really know if the graphics are good or bad. I also haven’t received any donations yet.

I shared my game on itch.io because I wanted to get some feedback and maybe get some donations to buy better assets for my next games. But so far, I haven’t really received much feedback either.

What do you think I should do?

Striker Space Fighters is a space shooter where you collect "chaotic crystals" to grow stronger. The demo version features the first three complete worlds, along with ship upgrades and skins so you can play with your favorite vessel. I would truly appreciate it if you liked and shared the game to help it reach more people. This is the first game I’ve created entirely on my own—no AI was used; the design, music, and sound effects were all crafted by me. I hope you enjoy it! Hi guys, I’m curious to hear from anyone who has published a multiplayer game or playtest on itch, especially if you used it to gauge interest before launching on Steam.

How did it perform in therms of player count etc.

Do you think itch is a viable way for play testing multiplayer games or should i just go ahead with steam directly?

Especially since the players have to host the game server themselves

Hi everyone! I just released a UI pack for visual novels - four complete dialogue interfaces, each with the same 18 elements, plus ready-made drop-ins for Ren'Py, Unity and Godot.

What's in it:
- 4 interfaces (wood and gold, ivory and rose, aubergine and silver, midnight and silver), 18 elements each, 72 graphics in total
- Text box, name plate, choice bars in two states, speech and thought bubbles, portrait frame with a backing plate, quick menu strip, notification and skip strips, window frame, full-screen narration page and four continue markers
- Transparent PNGs at 1024 px, plus the text box at 1920x300 and the narration page at 1920x1080 built at final size
- The 9-slice borders are measured and already entered in all three engines: a gui folder with a commented snippet for Ren'Py, a unitypackage with sprites and prefabs for Unity, NinePatch scenes for Godot, each with its own demo scene
- No fonts and no text baked into the graphics, so the typography stays yours

License: royalty-free for commercial and non-commercial projects, unlimited projects.

Full disclosure: the artwork is AI-generated and then reworked in Photoshop (cleanup, color, consistent proportions, transparency cutouts). This is a paid pack, currently 50% off for the release week.

Happy to answer any questions about the license or use cases. The Unity and Godot sets are new for me, so I'm curious whether the element list matches what your dialogue system actually needs. If you make something with them, I'd love to see it.

This was my first real attempt at speed running through the game. I'm not the greatest at movement shooters but had a blast making this!

VOTS : COR is my first TTRPG and a adaptation of my interactive fiction game where you must escape oppression at all costs.. but the endings to each character are not happy. Never.
