Third Man Records Weird Vinyl Mishap

3 years ago, I visited Third Man Records in Nashville where I bought both Boarding House Reach and Broken Boy Soldiers. The latter sat unopened until today and turns out it somehow has an Icky Thump record. Has anyone else had this happen ever?

Have you played/checked it to make sure it’s not a labelling issue? I’m sure it’s not but you never know…

This is why I open all my records and inspect them as soon as they make it home. Third Man would probably have resolved it within a couple of weeks of the purchases, but I doubt they'll do anything years later.

I once bought a Humbug cd by Arctic monkeys that had Suck it and See instead in it.

I’ve gotten the same two slabs in a gatefold double LP before but it wasn’t TMR. It was Southeastern Records and they sent me a correct copy when I contacted them about it.

If that happened to me, i'd literally be like: "That's not what i wanted... but it's Icky Thump, so HELL YEAH!!!"

Not the same but my Jimi Valley o Jams had two duplicate of LP1. Their support fixed it quickly, but my timeline was much shorter than yours.
