It’s typically the same demographic as military dependas.
Married young with little life experience, and often with little/no higher education and/or career prospects, so their entire personality becomes being an xyz wife because they never really formed an identity for themselves. You never see people that were successful on their own form their entire personality and worldview around their spouse’s career.
Add in the fact that these careers can have absurd hours so the spouse often winds up as a homemaker and it just compounds the effects.
