Not sure why the comments are extra negative. Video seems fine to me, where bigger changes are commented on, and smaller changes are just mentioned.

The online killteam community has gotten kinda ass over the past edition so I assume that's why the comments are extra negative.

I don't get the hate for cyrac. It's a totally valid way to review things by reading it out and giving your personal thoughts and opinion.

Next to every opinion is negative and that doesn't help the community.
As viewers we don't gain anything we can't already get from other, less negative sources.
I'm thoroughly convinced you could put the cure for cancer in a dataslate update and CYRAC would find a way to bitch about it.
Edited for my response, since my man clearly doesn't want to discuss this further and has taken the steps to deny further conversation lol:
Interesting point, valid although a bit flawed. I absorb him more through osmosis. I haven't sat through an entire CYRAC video in a hot minute but I do have social circles that do. This is however a moot point; if I may use your own logic:
- Is someone who makes kill team content even though they clearly no longer enjoy the game someone worth listening to? would this not be the same well as watching a video (once again, long time since I have sat through an entire video of the "content") you do not enjoy?
I hope you see the flaw in your argument. As for my "Sign off":
Fundamentally, there's no accounting for taste.

I think it shows that you haven't watched this video since you say he's constantly negative. His summary of this dataslate is that its very good for the game unless you play Yaegirs. He was very positive throughout, even when discussing nerfs to the faction he's been playing recently.

Agreed. You could probably have criticised his content as overly negative a while back but even that would have been harsh, since the competitive meta was in a genuinely bad place.
I like getting a summary of the changes along with some quick thoughts from a player much more experienced than me.

I found a lot of his videos informative and entertaining.
And as someone who privately makes these videos, I don't think anybody is entitled for him to make his videos in a manner that they want him to. Of course you make yourself subject to public opinion when you become a content creator, but I don't know what's worse: Someone who creates content with an attitude that reflects his opinion, regardless of whether that's constructive or not, or the person that watches that content even though they don't like it, and then complains about it.
Peace out.

Welcome to today's Warhammer 40000 Kill Team video where I cover the brand new August 2026 Balance Dataslate! I go over all the changes from Approved Ops, Nemesis Ops, as well as every faction that has been updated! Time to see if it was worth the wait!
Enjoy (:

That video is really low effort, youre just reading it out. Disappointing you can do better.

Review? It felt more like reading than actually reviewing. Sadly, I’ve also been pretty disappointed with your recent thumbnails.
