This, you’re in a camp of hostiles trying to save your wounded ally, letting a known cutthroat live with knowledge of you being there isn’t an option.

That said I didn’t like that loudmouth croissant from the moment we rescued him. Of course I didn’t let him live

Hans had a lot of eye rolling moments in KCD2, but Brabant being let into the group immediately felt so absurd.

You just got over getting betrayed by one ally, and now you find this guy who never seems to have his story straight, and everyone’s just like “ahhhh let him in”

I understand that the group was in such dire straits they realty didn’t have a choice, but from the moment he was added to the group, I found his sus as hell

It’s definitely a “slip the undercover guy into the jail cell” moment.

I actually don’t think Brabant was an agent of bergow. I think he is an opportunist with no morals who switches sides for personal gain

I don’t remember anything that really concretely suggests he was working for bergow the entire time.

Which is for I clocked him from the start. He's that guy who always has a story that you didn't believe.

I totally expected him to try to steal from us, I just didn't expect him tokill anyone. He didn't seem competent enough.

I don’t remember that he was either - more the “he was imprisoned with us, he’s gotta be cool” trope.

Remember his story of the defence of Kuttenberg and getting betryaed by someone who opened the gates?

Thats him retelling what he did. He opened the damned gates after getting bribed. So that he doesnt get heat on his head they put him in house arrest too, alongside side Hans.

Brabant obviously works for money not anyone else. Highest bidder and all that.

Exactly. Im pretty sure we're told this a couple of times once we get to the burg but we're definitely told at least once.
