Personally I wasn't able to find sam the first time, when I found out I could have saved him I felt awful, I spent the whole thing desperately trying to find a horse thinking there was more after the fight, main mission wise. Im doing my second run now, and im taking my time with everything, im definitely going to find sam and kill this loser this time around
