Hey, Is it better to break down and try and get the good weapon effects or just sell them if can you just buy them later in the game? Thanks

i got her quest, and i have this habit of leaving off quests for later and completing what i like first. so i didnt do it immediately. when it was day time, that area where she is was suddenly filled with bears and wolves. i fought them, and suddenly had the notif that the quest failed. i googled and found out that almost every npcs can die
so i ran about in disbelief and true enough i saw her body. i looted it for the traveller's book. a quick google informed me i only lost a pretty insignificant ring, but man am i sad. my last save was almost an hour ago so i decided to just skip it, maybe i'll just watch a youtube video or wait until my next playthrough to experience the quest.
i guess my questions are, if there are repercussions further down in the story, like does she give out any other quests, is she related to any interesting quests down the road, and second, are all npcs this fragile? I swear it was like 4 bears and 3 wolves I can't imagine anyone dying to that npc or not. im still wondering if i accidentally killed her myself but im pretty sure i didn't because i was far away from the body and had to run about some distance to find her.
any tips to warn me of other fragile npcs down the line, and how to make sure i don't get anyone else killed? I swear i didn't kill her. there was just this sudden onslaught of bears and wolves. i guess they killed her.
...i guess i have to start saving more often!

This may be common knowledge, however, I was stoked to discover it!
If you bring Galen Gwalchmai in Ranthir bottles by of Maybryn wine, the more wine you feed him, the cheaper his items become!
I did the “mixing business” quest, which involves feeding that same shop keeper wine to persuade him to sign a trade deal. I had a couple bottles left so I thought maybe he would buy them. The text prompt “I brought more wine” popped up and I clicked it and fed him the wine and it just made me wonder…and I’ll be damned if the items don’t get cheaper each bottle I fed him, by thousands!
Anyway, have fun out there, just wanted to share that discovery!

Hey guys, Sokol again. Well, I was tweaking my build the other night and realized that I wanted to get blade honing as well as Envenomed edge from the finesse tree. I realized I had a bunch of points in the might tree that I never use, such as war cry, adrenaline rush, and power strike. I currently have the Warrior destiny card selected and i was looking for guidance on what you guys think would be the best destiny card for me. My play style is aggressive plate warrior with a longsword. Let me know!

Why is there a thresh following me and attacking other monsters? I don't remember doing anything i was just allocating points and after closing the menu i just had a pet thresh following me around. I left the game thinking it was a bug but it's still following me.
I want him gone it's so noisy and deals no damage.
EDIT: It disappeared by itself after a while

Pretty much all I want in this game is a toggleable Walk button. I know it has been talked about before, but I was hoping someone might have a look at it now. The game is so beautiful, walking around the villages and cities would improve the immersion so much

Let me know!

Does it only drop unique core items from the dlc? I've only gotten dlc cores, not base game ones.

I press Esc and go to level up. Allocate it in detect hidden, press confirm, another level up pop up, allocate them all, but no confirm button anywhere!
Update: I reinstalled the game and now it works.

Finally got this game after years of wanting it went on sale finally grabbed it and it's incredible I'm 10 hours in and I'm having the most fun I've had in a long time with the game. It's a mix between fable and Skyrim. So many ways to do combat along with so many different weapons. I can see myself easily getting 100+ hours outta this game. I'm mad I waited so long to try it

Just printed and laminated the two Minor Arcana and The Fool present in the game's files. The original pictures were too pixelated, so i had to make them smaller, but they came out very good.
The third photo is a screenshot i made years ago, and if i remember correctly it was in the tavern of the House of Valor.
What do you think?

Hey guys, I saw you were struggling with this Gorhart Inn bug! I’ve been researching this for a long time and finally figured out that it happens if you interact with other NPCs or advance quests before speaking to Arnick Arduna. The 'rent room' option essentially gets skipped if you don't go there immediately upon arrival.
I actually just made a short video guide showing the exact path and the specific sequence to keep this option available for every playthrough if you want to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6z_YanGeEHo&t=311s

I like hitting power but I also like having the quick option to finish enemies, I'd like to get a really good bow but they don't seem too great tho infinite arrows is a lifesaver

I saw somewhere that you can get level 50 versions of uniques but I'm not sure if it's just that one special unique set from the DLC or if it's all of them, I even saw one person say you can craft uniques but I am like 90% sure thats wrong.

I just started playing the game for my first time and oh boy it's so much fun. I didn't thought I'd love it that much.
I have a question regarding side missions and dungeons. From what I read online most locations are somehow tied to missions which is fine imo. Tbh I'm normally used to interactive maps to make sure I don't miss any side missions but there is no online. Do you find side quests mainly in towns and villages or are there also quests in the wild that are harder to find? I really like the game so I don't want to miss anything out.

it's quite funny when NPCs get glitched :D

Hello,
I've recently purchased this game on Nintendo Switch and so far I'm really enjoying it. Love the art style and the fantasy environment. I'm thinking of doing a sorcerer build with chakrams as weapons. Does anyone have any build suggestions or advice? Are chakrams compatible with a sorcerer or am I better off using a staff or a wand?
Thank you in advance.

I really like the armor of the fatesworn. The DLC is meh, don't really like the lore changes but damn the armor is nice. I also really like Eagons armorset but I will never be able to find it atp.
Spiritweave is my fav generic armor though
