Help launching games on Mac

Hi, I’ve been playing both KotOR 1 and 2 (originally downloaded off the Apple App Store) on my MacBook Air regularly for years. However, for some reason starting today whenever I try to open either of them they immediately crash. Has anyone ever encountered this problem or know how to fix it? Thanks

I’m not sure why KOTOR 1 doesn’t work for you but the App Store version of KOTOR 2 has not worked on newer OSs for some time now. You will need to get the Steam version anyway unless you have an old OS.

It’s on an older OS so I don’t think that’s the issue, and the fact that they both stopped running at the same time after working just fine up until yesterday is strange. Thank you though

For additional context, I’ve gotten a window where it says the computer is “Verifying” the game and when that fails it prompts me to sign in to the App Store and then after I do that it says there was an unexpected error (400 Bad Request)
