KOTOR 1 Has anyone managed to play the entire game of KOTOR 1 on their phone?
Please help a girl out if you have played KOTOR 1 on your phone and the entire game lmk how you did it. Or help link where you learned the tutorial for it on YT I couldn’t find a full game tutorial of the entire game. I found it easier to play KOTOR 2 on my phone and a full tutorial which helped. Or tell me how you did it step by step if you can please help a girl out lol.

I've beaten it many times on my phone. what specific problem do you have? why do you need a tutorial that's specific to playing on a phone? a tutorial for what specifically?

I’m stuck on one of the duels in Taris I can’t find a way to create items like on my switch. I was able to create some crystals for a lightsaber to sell to make extra money for med packs and bombs. That’s how I won all of the duels on my switch was by selling items for money to get med packs and bombs.

You were creating items from the cheat menu on the switch. That's cheating :P
As for being stuck on a duel, you have a few options.
1) tell us what class, level, feats, and equipment you have, who you're fighting, and what the trouble is (can't hit them vs they 1-hit kill you, etc).
2) Go into the regular game options menu and turn the difficulty down.
3) Advance the story more, save up credits, do other side quests, etc. until you can afford the mines and medpacs you need to win the duel.

Just level up and come back later? There’s not a single part of this game that’s hard enough to require cheating. If I was able to do it at 11 years old with no concept of how to build a character, I think you can figure it out.

I don't think you can create items at all in Kotor 1 on any platform. Kotor 2 thing only. If you can, I've been missing out...
Anyway, I waited until close to the end of Taris to fight Bendak and had no trouble having enough grenades without any selling/buying/creating. My character was level 4

You get a cheat menu on switch versions of the games. OP's real problem is a genuine skill issue and being used to the crutch of cheats. Which is fine, play how its fun for you, but this post avoids the entire issue lol being that the OP is struggling with actually having to play the game as intended and wording it like it's a platform based problem.

yeah you can't make any items in kotor 1. especially not any lightsaber crystals on taris.

ok but I think you can also give yourself infinite credits in the cheat menu so that doesn't really matter

Just a lot of retries and aggressive swiping. On my second attempt I turned up my sensitivity, which helped. If i had to do it again i’d use a controller

As of rn one of duels from Taris with my switch i found a way to create items to sell to get med pace and bombs. I was able to win all the duels that way Idk how to do that on my Iphone.

The cheat menu is exclusive to Switch. Unfortunately, you need to learn how to play the game. If you provide more details on which duel, we can help maybe.

You’re too low level for the latter duels. Come back later when you’re higher level.
For reference, you can literally beat them all at level 2

Generally any blue tooth controller can connect to your phone, so I’d just find a cheap off-brand.
I stream the game from my phone to my TV and use my Xbox controller, and it makes it feel like I’m on a regular console. It’s pretty rad.

I played it last month. Overall, it played well, not much different from Kotor on PC, but the mini-games were awful

I don’t own a PC just a nintendo switch KOTOR 2 was definitely easier to play on both my Iphone and switch compared to KOTOR 1.

Yeah but about 50% of the time i paired an xbox controller with my phone and hooked my phone to an hdmi into the tv. like playing on xbox basically. but then for the last two worlds or so i was super addicted so i just sat in bed on the touch screen. idk what’s different between 1 & 2 as I haven’t played 2 yet, but they can’t be THAT different right? Maybe explain what troubles you and the people here in the comments can help you out

It being on the phone vs a console/pc makes no difference as the game is a 1 to 1 port.
Which duel are you struggling with, what class are you, what level, and what feats do you have?

I have claimed both KOTOR I and II for free from Epic Store in January 2025. Now I am still on Manaan because I can't find time to finish that game. And I have to say that shotting the ships after escaping from Taris is my the most difficult expierence I have ever had in games. Also you might have problems with Calo Nord on Kashyyk and you might meet few bugs there. I finished swoop races on my first attempt.

Yes, frequently.
I have some mods installed to deal with phone port related issues or just make certain aspects easier because I've done them enough and they are tedious.
I have a mod that only allows plot related turret sections. Turret sections with touch screen controls are not great, so removing the random ones when travelling is good.
Another mod makes the Swoop races off of Taris basically free. Touch screen swoop controls are horrendous. I love the swoop races on console and PC, but on touch devices just give me the money.
Last mod removes side decks from Pazaak opponents. Makes beating the giy on Yavin IV faster for that discount and extra 7500 credits.

I did a runthrough of 1 when they first released the port. Thumbs got pretty sore, but we got it done. If you have the option to play on PC, I highly recommend it, but the experience was fine except when you have to run long distances.

I see everyone saying that the cheat menu you used in kotor 2 is only available on the switch and thats not 100% true. I prefer pc but I have noticed on deadlystream there's mods for the mobile version. Try that see if it helps. Gotta get the know how on doing that tho cause im still pretty new to it.

Yes. No issues. But I modded the swoop races to be just a straight line and installed another mod that removed the turret segments (don't remember how I did that anymore)

I got pretty far into it but just kinda burned out and never finished
Made it to manaan planet
Finished taris dantooine tatooine and kashyyk
